DESCRIPTION:Come join a U8 discussion forum on 'Big Business and Governanc
 e in Developing Countries'. Led by U8 Research Coordinator Ruth Kelly and 
 U8 Researcher Muhammed Irfan\, the forum focusses on the role of big busin
 ess in promoting labour standards and human rights. \n\nMuhammed Irfan wil
 l be leading the discussion on the successes and failures of multinational
 s in raising labour standards in developing countries\, while Ruth Kelly w
 ill look at the role of big business in removing\nconflict diamonds from t
 he market\, and thereby protecting human rights in developing countries.\n
 \nThe forum is an informal discussion open to the audience to contribute i
