DESCRIPTION:The Bondi-Metzner-Sachs (BMS) symmetries arise at the null bou
ndary of asypmtotically flat spacetimes. Field theories with BMS symmetry
have been recently used to construct the notion of Minkowskian holography\
, especially in the 3d bulk - 2d boundary case. This programme entails und
erstanding these rather weird field theories in more detail. In this talk\
, we would outline how to build a bootstrap programme for 2d field theorie
s with BMS symmetries inspired by methods of the conformal bootstrap. \nBa
