DESCRIPTION:The search for CP violation is a large part of the flavour pro
grams at LHCb and the B factories\, with pure hadronic decays as the key p
layers. In this respect\, three-body decays\, which form a large part of t
he B meson branching fraction\, contain much more information than two-bod
y decays\, because of their non-trivial kinematic structure. These decays
can be described using a QCD factorization framework similar to two-body d
ecays\, but involving additional hadronic inputs. Within this framework we
perform a first study of CP violation in three-body decays.
