DESCRIPTION:We study the derived modular envelope of several cyclic operad
 s. More specifically\, using a cyclic W-construction as cofibrant replacem
 ent we get a derived modular envelope (of the cyclic operad of planar stru
 ctures) which can be interpreted as a ribbon graph model for the correspon
 ding moduli space of bordered Riemann surfaces. (Joint work with Ralph Kau
