DESCRIPTION:A long standing puzzle in flavour physics has been the discrep
ancy between inclusive and exclusive determinations of the CKM matrix elem
ent |Vub|. The Belle II\, B factory experiment will begin running in 2019
with the ultimate aim of collecting fifty times the integrated luminosity
of its predecessor experiment Belle. This seminar presents the prospects f
or Belle II measurements of |Vub| using leptonic and semileptonic decays.
In addition\, recent developments in the Belle II tag-side B meson reconst
ruction algorithm\, which is critical for several of these measurements\,
 are shown.
