DESCRIPTION:Real images are composed of a mixture of luminance and color i
 nformation. Mosaic stimuli combining color and luminance contrast have bee
 n used in visual science to test the visual discrimination of a target emb
 edded in the background using only cues of color or luminance or even the 
 combination of them. We will discuss the interaction of color and luminanc
 e information and its influence on spatial discrimination tests using mosa
 ic stimulus.\n
