DESCRIPTION:Data driven computation ideas have been around for a long time
 .  Data-flow is currently used in the small to control instruction level p
 arallelism\, but has otherwise been commercially unsuccessful (so far) at 
 other levels of abstraction.\n\nData-flow computer architectures which sup
 port instruction-level data driven computation will be reviewed.  Then mor
 e recent ideas on coarse grained data-flow for multithreading will be pres
 ented.\n
