DESCRIPTION:Sarkisov links are fundamental tools for the birational classi
 fication of varieties.\n\nIn this talk I will outline the definition of su
 ch links\, with particular attention to the toric case\, and describe how 
 they are useful in the classification of Q-Fano 3-folds in codimension 4\,
  using unprojections and Tom&Jerry formats as additional techniques.\n\nTh
 is will then lead to a glimpse of my current research.
