DESCRIPTION:Cognitive scientists and neuroscientists have become increasin
gly interested in social interaction. A relatively new field of study inve
stigates how people perform actions together to achieve joint outcomes. Th
is raises the question of how people form shared task representations\, ho
w they coordinate their actions\, and how they attribute control to self a
nd other. We will review a number of our recent studies on task sharing\,
and present some of our attempts to investigate interpersonal action coord
 ination and agency.
