DESCRIPTION:This seminar addresses how good we are at assessing ultimate r
 ecoveries\, production profiles and value prior to development when compar
 ed to actual field behaviour. Uncertainty studies conducted in the mid-nin
 eties before production began on several UKCS fields are re-examined on th
 e basis of the actual outcomes\, and the practical guidelines based upon t
 he decade of new knowledge about the subsurface are proposed.
