DESCRIPTION:We will begin with a brief introduction to group cohomology\, 
 then investigate the cohomology of finite Chevalley groups in cross charac
 teristic and use results of Guralnick and Tiep from 2011 on the first coho
 mology group to obtain a general result for the nth cohomology group. We t
 hen use these results to completely determine the cohomology of irreducibl
 e modules for PSL(2\,q) when the characteristic of the representation is n
 ot 2.
