DESCRIPTION:We shall discuss a joint work with B. Pausader showing that fo
 r  $s>0$\, $s\\neq 1$ there are global solutions of the 3d defocusing Nonl
 inear Schrödinger equation with unbounded $H^s$ orbits\, in spite of the 
 presence of conservation laws at $s=0$ and $s=1$. This shows an interestin
 g rigidity property of the energy bound.\n
