DESCRIPTION:Over the last 25 years interest in using a stylus as an input 
 device has waxed and waned. Currently the level of interest is increasing 
 for both tablets and laptops. I will discuss some of the practical lessons
  from implementing stylus input in Chromebooks\, advantages and disadvanta
 ges of different stylus technology\, and why the standard being promoted b
 y the Universal Stylus Initiative seems a good direction for the industry.
  (Since my area is hardware and low level software there will not be much 
 discussion of use-cases or UI/UX requirements for stylus applications.)
