DESCRIPTION:By an extension of the work of Barthel-Livne (Duke 1994) to a 
 reductive p-adic group G\, the classification of irreducible admissible re
 presentations of G  modulo p (i.e. over a field of characteristic p) is re
 duced to the classification of supercuspidal - equivalently supersingular 
 -  ones (JAMS 2016)\, which remains  a fundamental open problem.\n\nIts so
 lution for GL(2\,Q_p) by Breuil was essential for the p-adic local Langlan
 ds correspondence with 2-dimensional Galois representations by  Colmez (As
 terisque 2010). \n\nWe will present recent results  motivated by this ques
 tion\, due to Abe\, Henniart-V.\, Herzig-Koziol-V.\,  Grosse-Kloenne\, Oll
 ivier-V..
