 m single-cell Hi-C and single-molecule imaging - Dr Srinjan Basu\; Trinity
college Senior Postdoctoral Researcher Group Leader\, Wellcome Trust- MRC

DESCRIPTION:Srinjan received his BA/MSci from the University of Cambridge
and his PhD from Harvard University. He then returned to Cambridge to comp
lete his postdoc and is currently transitioning to a Group Leader position
at the Wellcome Trust-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. Srinjan implemen
ts biophysical and computational methods such as single-cell Hi-C and live
cell 3D single-molecule imaging to study the architecture of the genome a
t the level of a single mammalian cell. In particular\, he is studying how
transcription factors and protein complexes (such as NuRD) regulate the f
olding of the genome as pluripotent stem cells differentiate.
