DESCRIPTION:Gordon Johnson is Chair of the Cam Academy Trust and former Pr
 esident of Wolfson College\, Cambridge. Gillian Sutherland is a Fellow Eme
 rita of Newnham College\, Cambridge\, and was Chair of the Stephen Perse F
 oundation\, Cambridge\, from 1999–2018. \n\nThey will discuss structures
  of school governance past and present and the challenges faced. The histo
 ry of the Village College movement in Cambridgeshire and the tradition of 
 educational provision developed by those colleges was the starting point w
 hich initiated this discussion.
