DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Immune modifying approaches for the treatment of can
 cer have been wildly successful\, yet approved therapies are only the tip 
 of the iceberg. Drugs in earlier stages of development represent a broad c
 lass of agents with numerous challenges for a successful drug discovery pr
 ogramme. For example\, how do we demonstrate intra-tumoural immune modulat
 ion from a peripheral blood sample? How do identify the patients most like
 ly to respond to immune-therapy? Here I will discuss the bioinformatic app
 roaches we are taking to address these questions within AstraZeneca.
