DESCRIPTION:In its original form\, the AdS/CFT correspondence is motivated
  by string theory. An open question is whether dualities between gravity a
 nd quantum field theories are valid more generally than within string theo
 ry. Based on the holographic principle\, recently there has been a lot of 
 interest in mapping the information properties of black holes to concepts 
 from quantum information theory. This requires to define quantum informati
 on concepts such as computational complexity also within quantum field the
 ory. This is a non-trivial task since these concepts now have to be define
 d in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. We discuss recent proposals and 
 examples in this context.
