DESCRIPTION:We study the decay of gravitational waves into dark energy flu
 ctuations made possible by the spontaneous breaking of Lorentz invariance.
  In addition to this effect\, we find that radiative corrections induce mo
 difications in the dispersion relation for gravitons.\n\nThe requirements 
 that gravitational waves are stable on cosmological scales\, and that they
  travel at the speed of light\, rules out all quartic and quintic GLPV the
 ories. Conversely\, operators up to cubic Horndeski induce small quantum c
 orrections and appear to be experimentally viable. Nonetheless we find tha
 t classical effects provide additional constraints to the parameter space 
 of these surviving models.
