DESCRIPTION:The main goal of current and future surveys is to use differen
t \ncosmological probes to investigate the true nature of cosmic \nacceler
ation. In this talk I will present cosmological constraints \nobtained fro
m a combined analysis of weak gravitational lensing\, \ngalaxy-galaxy lens
ing and galaxy clustering from the Kilo-Degree Survey \n(KiDS) and the Gal
axy And Mass Assembly (GAMA) survey\, including all the \ncross-correlatio
ns between the different probes. With this analysis we \nset constraints o
n parameters that describe the Horndeski class of dark \nenergy and modifi
ed gravity models\, which includes the majority of \nextensions to ΛCDM t
hat could explain cosmic acceleration. I will \nconclude my talk with a lo
ok at how these constraints can be improved \nwith data from future Stage
 IV cosmological surveys.
