DESCRIPTION:Like the Industrial Revolution impacted manufacturing\, digita
 l transformation is now responsible for changing the industry. Now\, manuf
 acturing companies are using technology to move from mass production to cu
 stomized production\, and it’s happening at a rapid pace. Consumer expec
 tations and the advent of connected devices and platforms are driving the 
 persistent digitization of the manufacturing. This talk will review the di
 gitalization of smart objects in relation to the deployment of the Interne
 t of Things (IoT) and the Industry 4.0. Their digital manufacturing using 
 printing and related challenges will be also addressed.
