DESCRIPTION:Understanding how to study theoretical empirical questions in
real life scenarios with the messy data associated with it is a complex pr
oblem.\n\nIn this talk I will address this challenge from two perspectives
. Firstly\, my PhD research focussed on understanding how human cooperativ
e behaviour changes when it is studied in a laboratory in comparison to la
rge scale naturalistic observational studies.\n\nSecondly I will talk abou
t it from a far more applied point of view using examples of past and pres
ent Living Laboratory projects where research has been used to inform oper
 ations.
