  migrant backgrounds are at risk of marginalisation and criminalisation. I
 t applies procedural justice ideas to the International Self-Report Delinq
 uency Study\, a large survey of schoolchildren. The analysis focusses on E
 ngland\, France\, Germany\, the Netherlands\, Scotland and the USA. It com
 pares first and second generation migrant teenagers with non-migrants\, di
 fferentiating between those from visible ethnic minorities and others.
