DESCRIPTION:Helen will explain how parasitic plants get the water\, food a
 nd oxygen they (and all living things) need to survive. Most plants rely o
 n photosynthesis for manufacturing sugars which are the building blocks\, 
 with certain minerals\, for the\nother molecules that they require. Some p
 lants “cheat” to a greater or lesser degree with varying effects on th
 e host.
