DESCRIPTION:The blob algebra is an example of a diagram algebra\, that is 
 to\nsay\, an algebra whose generators and relations can be described picto
 rially.\nIn this talk I will describe the representation theory of this al
 gebra and\ngive a description of its indecomposable tilting modules. This 
 new result is\nrelated to KLR algebras\, categorification\, and (diagramma
 tic) Soergel\nbimodules.
