DESCRIPTION:Advanced energy-efficient technologies (hardware and software)
\, are at the heart of a computing and connectivity revolution that is tra
nsforming the way people live and businesses operate. Development of these
technologies is based on ever more complex engineering concepts and workf
lows\, producing vast amounts of data.\n\nArm applies Data Science / Machi
ne Learning to exploit these data\, enable data-driven decisions\, advance
technology and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering wo
rkflows. \n\nThis talk is about the opportunities of utilising machine lea
rning in engineering to reduce product development cost/effort\, reduce ti
me to market\, and enable better technology.\n\nSpeaker bio: Dr Stephan Wa
ldert is a Principal Data Scientist at Arm\, where he leads the Machine Le
arning team working on Arm’s engineering challenges since 2017. Prior to
this he spent many years as a Senior Researcher at the University College
London. His researched focused on Brain-Computer Interfaces\, a combinati
on of brain\, hardware\, software and machine learning that permits brain
activity alone to control computers or external devices.\n
