DESCRIPTION:Throughout the domain of Computer Science we struggle with the
trade off of encapsulation vs convergence. Encapsulation splits a solutio
n into sub-components and hides the implementation of each. Convergence me
rges separate sub-components so that they may work better together.\n\nIn
this talk I explore how this trade off has created two divergent designs o
f infrastructure: the encapsulated ‘traditional’ method against the ne
 wcomer on the block\, ‘hyper-converged’.
