DESCRIPTION:Maria is a graduate of Bristol and Cambridge Universities. She
  pursued a PhD in Earth Sciences as a Bill and Melinda Gates Scholar and h
 as since moved on to policy work at\, among others\, the Chancellery of th
 e Prime Minister and the British Embassy in Poland. She is currently the L
 ead for Programme Development and Sustainability as part of the Internatio
 nal Research Agendas Programme at the Foundation for Polish Science.\nDuri
 ng the talk she will discuss scientific research in Poland\, career opport
 unities and funding options.\n
