DESCRIPTION:In 2018 it was estimated that 50 million people live with deme
 ntia worldwide and this number is expected to increase to 152 million in 2
 050. \n\nAs Director of the Cambridge Institute for Public Health\, Profes
 sor Carol Brayne is an internationally recognized leader in the field of a
 cademic public health. She has pioneered the study of dementia at a popula
 tion level\, launching two major longitudinal studies of the health and co
 gnitive functions of older people. Her research has helped to inform natio
 nal policy regarding the long-term care of dementia patients as well as pr
 omoting scientific understanding of dementia.\n\nWe hope you can join us f
