 verview of the challenges related to peer-to-peer storage systems\, especi
 ally large-scale peer-to-peer file systems.\n\nSuch challenges include:\n*
  Routing messages within an overlay network\;\n* Storing objects in a reli
 able way\;\n* Ensuring users security and privacy\;\n* Enabling users to p
 erform administrative tasks\;\n* etc.\n\n*Bio:*\n\nJulien is a PhD Student
  in the Opera group under the supervision of Pr. Jean Bacon and member of 
 Jesus College.\n\nJulien holds a Diplôme d'Ingenieur from the EPITA Grand
 e École and a Master from the Université Pierre & Marie Curie obtained t
 hrough a joint-degree programme.\n\nHis research interests are in the area
  of operating systems design and large-scale distributed systems\, especia
 lly peer-to-peer file systems.\n\nHis research is funded by the Cambridge 
 European Trust\, EPSRC and Microsoft Research.\n\nIn his spare time\, when

 ys playing football and tennis for his College as well as rowing and playi
