DESCRIPTION:*Abstract:*\n\n*Bio:*\n\nDavid Eyers is currently a Research A
 ssociate working on the CareGrid project. He has recently completed work o
 n a grant entitled "Business Contract Driven Application Development and C
 ontrol". Those grants involve use of declarative policy representation and
  conflict resolution.\n\nHis Ph.D. thesis documented research into active 
 distributed policy-based access control systems\, including the integratio
 n of work-flow and other dynamic constraints into Role-Based Access Contro
 l (RBAC)\, policy visualisation\, and the messaging infrastructure to supp
 ort such systems.\n\nHis overall research interests are far broader\, incl
 uding specific interests in networks\, web and database technologies.\n\nH
 is undergraduate education was completed at the University of New South Wa
