DESCRIPTION:In the talk\, I will present several extensions to the HVS par
 ser. First\, the\ninitialization of its parameters was modified using auto
 matically extracted\nnegative examples.  Second\, the HVS parser was exten
 ded so that it is able\nto produce not only right branching parse trees bu
 t also the left branching\nparse trees. Finally\, the third modification e
 nables the parser to process\nnot only words on its input but also additio
 nal features. The automatically\nobtained lemmas and morphological tags we
 re used as features and they\nsignificantly increased the performance.  Be
 cause the original parser and\nthe extended parser were implemented in GMT
 K (the Graphical Models Toolkit)\,\na brief description of the implementat
 ion will be given.
