DESCRIPTION:This talk introduces beginners with no previous experience of 
 social-media monitoring tools to the use of COSMOS for social research. CO
 SMOS (http://socialdatalab.net/COSMOS) is open data analytics software mai
 ntained and distributed by the Social Data Science Lab of Cardiff Universi
 ty funded by ESRC. The COSMOS application is available at no cost to acade
 mic institutions and not-for-profit organisations. The newer version of CO
 SMOS is recently released with a new features will be demonstrated as part
  of the talk. The first hour of the talk will be an introduction to COSMOS
  and the second hour will demonstrate it through presentation of a case st
 udy.
