DESCRIPTION:The top quark is the heaviest known particle and thus has a sp
 ecial place in the Standard Model of particle physics. Besides having inte
 resting properties on its own\, it is tightly connected to BSM physics in 
 many scenarios. A precise understanding of its properties is necessary to 
 make most of measurements at collider experiments. I present advances in f
 ixed-order QCD predictions for the production and decay of top-quark pairs
  at the LHC and their phenomenological application.\n\nThe slides of the p
