 EUD 2019.\n\nPaper abstract:\nWe present Cuscus\, a tool for data visualis
 ation that is informed\nby ethnographic fieldwork across different profess
 ional sectors.\nCuscus allows end-users to create novel visualisations by 
 defining visual\nproperties in a spreadsheet.We also report on user studie
 s in the contexts\nof data journalism and business analytics\, and discuss
  further extensions\nto this new interaction paradigm.
