DESCRIPTION:We say that a subspace of F 2 to the n is cyclically covering 
 if the union of its cyclic shifts is the whole space. We show that\, if $p
 $ is a prime with 2 as a primitive root\, then any cyclically covering sub
 space in\nF 2 to the p must have codimension at most 2\, (conditionally) a
 nswering a question of Cameron from 1991. In this talk\, we will discuss s
 ome of the ideas involved in the proof.\n\nJoint work with Carla Groenland
  and Tom Johnston.\n
