DESCRIPTION:The dynamics of behaviours exhibited by living organisms\, suc
 h as tactic (taxes) and tropic (tropisms) behaviours\, depend primarily on
  the time-scales of the biomechanical and biochemical subprocesses which c
 onstitute them. In this talk\, I will discuss the model I have developed t
 o describe the dynamics of phototactic reorientation -- towards a light st
 imulus -- in the biflagellated alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and its para
 meter phase space as a function of the time-scales of its molecular subcom
 ponent processes.
