DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, based on a recent joint work with Nick Cook\, I
  will discuss recent developments \nin the emerging theory of nonlinear la
 rge deviations focusing on sharp upper tails for counts \nof a fixed subgr
 aph in a large sparse Erdos–Renyi graph. In particular\, I will explain 
 our approach \nvia quantitative versions of the regularity and counting le
 mmas suitable for the study of sparse \nrandom graphs in the large deviati
 ons regime.
