DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we will discuss  the problem of replacing an in
 tegral norm with respect to a given probability measure by the correspondi
 ng integral <br>norm with respect to a discrete measure.  We study the pro
 blem  for elements of finite dimensional spaces in a general setting\, pay
 ing  a<br>special attention to the case of the multivariate trigonometric 
 polynomials with frequencies from a finite set with fixed cardinality. <br
