DESCRIPTION:The precise integration of functional materials such as organi
c-inorganic hybrid building blocks or n-conjugated units\, is a key issue
in the development of bio and nanoelectronic devices. This talk highlights
the speaker's recent study of the nanoscale assembly of polymer materials
based on Lang-muir-Blodgett (LB) and layer-by-layer technique\, which all
ows high-density integration of functinal units. These examples demonstrat
e the potential of bottom-up fabrication as a candidate strategy for funct
 ional device fabrication.
