DESCRIPTION:I will report on recent developments of the Monte Carlo event 
 generator Herwig7.  A special emphasis will be put on non-perturbative par
 ts of the simulation which have allowed to vastly improve the simulation o
 f Minimum bias collisions at the LHC.  Particularly the development of mod
 els for colour reconnection will also have implications for observables th
 at are dominated by the perturbative description of events.  Nonetheless I
  will also give brief reports on other parts of the simulation.
