DESCRIPTION:2019 marks the 200th anniversary of the death of James Watt (1
 736-1819)\, the Scottish-born inventor\, engineer and scientist. This talk
  explores his significance and reputation and how we might look at him in 
 new ways.\n \nDr Malcolm Dick\, OBE is Director of the Centre for West Mid
 lands History and Senior Lecturer in Regional and Local History at the Uni
 versity of Birmingham. He has been leading a number of projects which are
