DESCRIPTION:Planet migration occurs as a young proto-planet\nmoves radiall
y through a gaseous disk. A problem\nis that the migration is inward and t
he timescales are generally\nfound to be too short for planet formation \n
in the standard core accretion model. Several\nmechanisms have been propos
ed to slow the planet\nmigration. One mechanism involves slowing migration
\nby a feedback effect that is predicted to occur\nif the disk turbulent v
iscosity is low. I describe\nrecent results of nonlinear simulations of pl
anet migration in a nearly laminar disk.\n\n\n
