DESCRIPTION:This
talk focuses on the effectiveness of Generalized Wiene
r-Hopf Technique (GWHT)
in studying complex scattering and radiation pr
oblems constituted of planar and
angular regions made by impenetrable a
nd/or composite penetrable materials.

First\, we present theoretic
al models in
the spectral domain using Generalized Wiener-Hopf equation
s (GWHEs).

Next\,
we apply the novel and effective Fredholm fac
torization technique to get semi
analytical solution of the problem by
using integral equation representations.

The
semi-analyticity of
the GWHT solution allows physical insights in terms of
spectral compon
ent of fields.

The
case study presented in the talk is the elect
romagnetic field scattering and
radiation of a perfectly electrically c
onducting wedge over a grounded
dielectric slab.Authors:

V. Dan
