DESCRIPTION:We review recent progress in increasing the precision of SM fl
avour observables\, like heavy hadron lifetimes or B-mixing. The latter ob
servable turns out to be a severe constraint on BSM models that try to exp
lain the recently observed anomalies in the flavour sector.
