DESCRIPTION:Join us as we bring together leading academics to discuss the 
 topic of developing industrial capabilities.\n\nUnderstanding and developi
 ng capabilities is an essential part of strategic management of businesses
 . It also matters for countries – particularly those finding themselves 
 in rapidly changing environments.\n\nProfessor David Teece has led the dev
 elopment of dynamic capability as a concept designed to enable businesses 
 to navigate in changing environments through a better understanding of the
 ir current and necessary future capabilities.\n \nProfessor Teece will exp
 lore the latest developments in thinking about dynamic capabilities\, foll
 owed by Professor Tim Minshall who will consider the related issues for sk
 ills development\, and Dr Paul Christodoulou and Frank Wagner who will sha
 re recent global industrial experiences. A panel session will then conside
 r key questions and practical implications for companies and governments.\
