DESCRIPTION:In this talk we establish energy decay for solutions to the Kl
 ein-Gordon equation on the positive mass hyperboloidal anti-de Sitter Schw
 arzschild black hole\,\nsubject to Dirichlet\, Neumann and Robin boundary 
 conditions at infinity\, for a\nrange of the (negative) mass squared param
 eter. To do so we use vector field methods with a renormalised energy to a
 void divergences that would otherwise appear\nin the energy integrals. For
  another region of the parameter space\, we use the\nexistence of negative
  energy solutions to demonstrate linear instability
