DESCRIPTION:In this presentation\, I will share work from my doctoral rese
 arch which is concerned with issues of race equality in UK higher educatio
 n. In particular\, I will discuss some of the dilemmas of researching raci
 al phenomena. The presentation will include a discussion of the ethnograph
 ic approach adopted for the study as well as emerging findings.
