DESCRIPTION:ARIADNE\, a state-of-the-art 1-ton two-phase Liquid Argon Time
Projection Chamber (LAr TPC)\, features a game-changing photographic read
out utilising photon sensitive cameras to image the secondary scintillatio
n light produced in THGEM holes. ARIADNE underwent testing at the T9 beam
line\, CERN East Area in Spring 2018. ARIADNE is the first two-phase LAr T
PC with photographic capabilities to be positioned at a charged particle b
eamline\, and we successfully imaged beautiful LAr interactions with 1 mm
track resolution at momenta between 0.5 GeV to 8 GeV. Recently\, we have b
een successfully working on a further enhancement of the detector by integ
rating an ultra-fast imaging system based on the well-established TimePix3
sensor. With this technology we have now created a dream TPC in which you
can take videos of particle interactions with ns time resolution and mm s
patial resolution just based on light. The system is ideal for colossal du
al phase LAr neutrino detectors. Results from the beam-test and the 3D Tim
ePix3 TPC system will be presented detailing the many benefits and capabil
 ities of this technology.
