DESCRIPTION:Let g be the general linear Lie algebra\nover an algebraically
  closed field of positive characteristic. The crucial\nrepresentations of 
 g to understand are those associated to the\nreduced enveloping algebras U
 _e (g) for a nilpotent element e in g.  We explain how the representations
  of U_e (g)\ncan be studied via representations of restricted truncated sh
 ifted Yangians.\nThen we present some consequences\, in particular to the 
 case where e is a two-row nilpotent.\n
